Lawrie Sanchez described the Robins as a Championship club

Barnet manager Lawrie Sanchez was graceful in defeat to Swindon as their Wembley dream was taken away from them by the Wiltshire club.

Alan Connell headed home the winner after 17 minutes and Barnet’s Charlie Taylor was sent off for a dangerous challenge.

“We were playing the best team in the league - whoever will finish above them will win the league,” said Sanchez.

“I give credit to Swindon. I think they are a Championship side in League Two. I think they will probably win the league.

“They have a massive squad and a bigger wage bill than us. It took an awful long time to get Mark Hughes back onto the field. If we got him on quicker, then who knows?”
