Charlton manager Chris Powell has told Arsenal loanee Emmanuel Frimpong to prove his worth in his side.
The 20-year-old made a loan switch to the Valley earlier this week and could make his debut against Huddersfield tomorrow.
“He’s got to come in and prove his worth,” Powell said. “We will see how it goes.
“It’s a long time and there is a lot of football to be played so we will see how it goes for him.
“His long-term future I would say is at Arsenal. We see this as another stepping stone in his quest to move forward with his career so if we can help out, and he helps us, obviously that’s why you have loans.”
