Crawley Town have activated a 28-day release clause to recall John Akinde and Charlie Wassmer from their loan spells with Dagenham & Redbridge.

Striker Akinde has played five times since his move last month, but failed to find the net.

While defender Wassmer has seen just 15 minutes of action as a substitute in the 1-0 victory over Port Vale.

Neither would have been eligible to play against parent club Crawley next Saturday and return to the Broadfield Stadium with immediate effect, following the departure of manager Steve Evans earlier this week.
