The former Brentford, Leicester, Notts County and Cheltenham boss wants to take permanent charge of the Bees
Barnet manager Martin Allen has thrown his hat into the ring to be the new permanent Bees manager.
The former Notts County boss returned to Underhill for the third time as the Bees stayed up by the skin of their teeth.
“I believe it’s possible to get Barnet back into the play-offs and challenging,” Allen said.
“Last year when I took over at Notts County they were doomed but after getting them safe we rebuilt the squad and the same can be done at Barnet. And that does interest me.
“I’d like to think there is room for a good challenge to get to League One.”
