Farid El Alagui promises to give everything he has for the west Londoners
Brentford new boy Farid El Alagui has vowed to give everything he has in a red and white shirt.
The former Falkirk striker made his first start for the west Londoners in a pre-season friendly against Hayes & Yeading and showed his aerial threat by playing a part in Brentford’s first goal – scored by Jonathan Douglas.
“I just want to give football what it gives me all the time,” El Alagui told London24.
“I will give everything for the team and give my energy and courage to the team and hopefully goals will come.”
The 27-year-old is looking to play in as many games as possible and feels he has settled into the club.
“My aim is to play a lot of games and help the team with my quality and hopefully goals will come,” the striker added.
“It’s been three weeks since I came here. I’m happy with the start and look to play more games with the team.
“I’ve met really nice people and they make everything easy on your life and I’m looking forward to settle down and all this stuff will get sorted.
“I will try to get myself ready for the start of the league season.”
