A trio of Caterhams were separated by just 15 seconds after the opening hour with the Scuderia B.O.G. team narrowly ahead of the Alemdent team who quickly hit back to lead by a lap at one-third distance.

At half distance Alemdent’s lead was secure while TCS Motorsport narrowly had the advantage over the BMW of Climax Motorsport, but in the final stages Scuderia BOG regrouped to finish two laps shy of the winners.

North Walsham’s Mike Bell, partnered by Cliff Ryan, steadily worked their way up the race order and secured sixth place and victory in their category with their Porsche 924.

Nigel Webb had to work hard to secure victory in the Touring Car Greats despite leading in the early laps until Peter Burton stole by.

Webb then made his mandatory pit stop and regained the lead when Burton took his stop before he parked his Jaguar Mk1 with brake issues. Peter Dorlin then took up the challenge but his late charge saw him fail to take victory by less than a second at the chequered flag.

A storming opening lap by Gwyn Pollard in the Olympic Breakfast race secured victory over the chasing John Taylor who won the Bonus Sprint at the end of Saturday after mirroring Pollard’s earlier start. Gordon Elwell and Rae Davis had a royal battle in the GTG race with both leading at times, but when the latter retired on the final lap Elwell could breath easy as he crossed the finishing line.

David Alston led the opening lap in the MGB race but then faded as Bill Kirkpatrick took over the reins followed by Will Linley, who had to pick his way through the field, while Joe Allenby-Byrne triumphed in the TC63 event.
