That was a friendly match in Exeter at St Thomas which was blessed with beautiful sunshine and although the home side won by 16 shots, the afternoon was greatly enjoyed by all.

With only a handful of games played, Ladies’ Captain, Di Dixon is making a habit of skipping Budleigh’s highest scoring winning rink.

On this, the third such occasion, Di’s team of Don Huish, Sue Job and Stuart Butler were never headed and finished with a score of plus twelve.

Greg Ellis’ rink also led from the start and recorded a 22 – 14 victory.
