Five rinks played a friendly match which was won by EBUA 109-80 shots. Seaton’s top rink was L Hurley-Smith, L Allison, M Carvell and R McDonald.

On Sunday, five mixed triples travelled to Dorchester where they played South Dorset BA. The result was a win for Seaton 91- 83 shots and the top triple was A Mayhew, T Hurley-Smith and I Steer winning 27-6.

Ilminster travelled to Seaton for a return match. It was very close, Seaton just losing out by one shot, 104-105. The top rink for Seaton was L Hurley-Smith, J Bellamy, K Russell and L Stone winning 21-12.

The ladies had an evening friendly match against Feniton on Thursday. Three triples played but unfortunately lost 45- 61 shots. Top triple for Seaton was A Joyner, L Stone and P Whitworth. The final match of the week was again a ladies’ match, against Madeira, a win for Seaton 59-45 shots.
