MARCH Marlins stars Gemma McGowen, Lydia Gray and Siobhan Halliday stand proud on the podium after triumphing at their first open water swimming event.
The youngsters finished as the top trio in the Cambridgeshire Girls 11-12 800m category at the ASA East Region Open Water Championships in Norwich. McGowen took gold, with Gray claiming silver and Halliday bronze.
Marc Johnson swam to a silver medal in the Cambridgeshire Boys 12-16 1500m event, while Katie McGowen finished fourth in the Cambridgeshire Girls 12-16 1500m.
