Middlesex CCC batsman Eoin Morgan believes the ICC need to give Test cricket a boost

Middlesex and England batsman Eoin Morgan believes the ICC need to give Test cricket a boost to ensure it remains the pinnacle of the game.
In recent weeks England team-mate and stand-in Twenty20 captain Graeme Swann has intimated that he’d like to see One Day International (50 over) cricket dropped from the calendar and just play Tests and Twenty20s.
“The ICC will need to give Test cricket a boost. The stands are packed for ODI and 2020 game,” he told Cricket World.
“My favourite part of the game is Test match cricket. It’s what you want to play and what I aspired to do.
“We should continue playing ODI cricket. There’s a World Cup every four years and we want to win it. Not playing isn’t an option.
“Test match cricket is struggling but in England we get brilliant test attendances. It’s becoming quite evident but something will need to be done.
Morgan averages 36 in Test cricket and has a top score of 130.
