Harry qualified earlier in the year for the junior novice jumping final of the Royal Windsor British Riding Club Championships.

The format was top score speed jumping and although they qualified as individuals, the three regional qualifiers formed a team representing Cornwall Devon British Riding Clubs.

With this being the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the show was set to be a special occasion and this was also the first out of county show for Jazz. In the warm up to her round she was certainly a live wire and when Harry steered her into the arena she looked as if she might pop! But they both got down to the job in hand and started jumping everything in sight and racking up as many points as possible in the time allowed. They had a great round resulting in a top 10 placing at number eight.

Jazz and Harry’s scores, along with the other two team members had quietly accumulated and the team were thrilled to hear that they had won the class. To add to the excitement, actor Martin Clunes presented the rosettes and prizes.
