David Ferrer knows he faces a difficult task against home-favourite Andy Murray in the Wimbledon quarter final.

The Spaniard beat Argentine Juan Martin del Potro in straight sets in the fourth round to reach his first quarter final at the All England Club.

“I’m very happy because it’s my first quarter-final,” Ferrer said. “I played my best match on grass.

“I am trying to improve every day, to play better.

“It’s going to be very difficult to beat Andy on this surface, I will try to do my best and try to play like today.”
