Wimbledon semi final: Williams beat Azarenka 6-3, 7-6
Serena Williams will face Agnieszka Radwanska in the ladies final at Wimbledon after she beat Victoria Azarenka in straight sets.
The American fired down a record 24 aces in order to reach her seventh final at the All England Club.
Williams knows that she faces a difficult test against the Pole in her debut final.
“She’s doing unbelievable,” the four-times winner said. “She’s playing so great.
“Wow, she’s going to get every ball back.”
Williams was also unhappy with her performance in the second set.
“I’ve been working so hard, I really wanted it,” she added.
“She was playing well and I got a little tight in the second set.
“I was looking too far in the future. I was so close, but I can’t do that.
“I was happy to get through that second set tie-break.”
