Transfer news: Brendan Rodgers wants to keep Craig Bellamy
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has admitted it will take something special to convince Craig Bellamy to join QPR.
Bellamy played under his compatriot with Wales, Blackburn and Manchester City and with the R’s looking to revamp their squad had been a possible target.
“He’s a good guy,” Rodgers said.
“He has a real passion for Liverpool and that’s the type I want here.
“It would take a really special and unique opportunity for Craig to walk out on Liverpool and for us to go our separate ways.”
