QPR manager Mark Hughes’ representative Kia Joorabchian has revealed that rumours of the Welshman’s sacking are ‘not true at all.’
Speculation had mounted that the former Blackburn and Manchester City boss had lost his job but it appears that Hughes is still at Loftus Road for now.
Joorabchian told the BBC: “These rumours are not true at all.”
Only one side have stayed up after a worse start to the season than QPR – Everton in 1994/95 and they won the FA Cup that season.
Indeed, the sides that made slightly better starts to the season in Premier League history were all relegated.
