QPR’s new signing Ji Sung-Park has revealed that he left Manchester United because he wanted to help the R’s reach the next level.

The South Korea international was announced to the media in a press conference today.

“I want to help them to reach the next level,” he said.

“I think they can go places. Their plan is great so I can’t refuse the plan or ambitions.

“There were some offers but money is not important but what you do in the future.

“QPR suggested to me their ambition and teams in the future. For me that is the important thing and that’s why I have signed.”

Park did admit that it was a tough decision to leave Old Trafford.

“It was a difficult decision to leave MUFC,” he added. “I have made it.

“This is time to have a new challenge for me.

“I think it is a great decision for me to join the club and progress.”
