Should the midfielder stay at Loftus Road?
With his side fighting to stay in the Premier League, QPR skipper Joey Barton saw it fit to use his elbow, knee and then head as he saw red against Manchester City.
The captain was sent off after hitting out at Carlos Tevez before kneeing Sergio Aguero and attempting to head butt Vincent Kompany as he made off the field.
Luckily for the former Newcastle United man his red card counted for little.
Third-bottom Bolton Wanderers, who started the day a point behind QPR with a far inferior goal difference, could only draw with Stoke City.
QPR survived, but Barton was charged with two acts of violent conduct by the FA and could face an 11 game ban if a three man FA panel sees fit.
The question is, should he face that ban as a QPR player? Is it in the best interests to sell? There are three years left on the midfielder’s £80,000 a week contract, who would pay him that amount? Should he be sacked? Or should he stay at the club?
