QPR assistant Mark Bowen has called on R’s fans to keep the faith and cited the recovery that Fulham had in the second half of the season.
The west Londoners have picked up four points so far this season and are without a win after the first 10 games – only three sides have survived in the Premier League after that winless start.
“When we went to Fulham, at Christmas time we lost to West Ham at home 3-1 and we got booed off the pitch and everyone was screaming for Mark Hughes to leave - we were second or third from bottom,” he explained. “That year we finished eighth.”
