QPR owner Tony Fernandes is excited by the prospect of a new stadium after revealing the progress made.

The Malaysian refused to name the sites, claiming that it would increase the price of the land but did reveal move about the project.

“We are making good progress and we should announce something,” he said.

“Stadiums are difficult to build in London. I’d like it to be in the region of 45,000.

“We’ve achieved a lot. What we said we’re going to do we have.

“It looks great. If we can deliver what we put on paper it’ll be pretty special.”
