Transfer News: Jack Midson is wanted by the Millers
Rotherham manager Steve Evans has admitted he has had a bid turned down for AFC Wimbledon star Jack Midson.
The Millers are looking to rebuild on a disappointing campaign and also tried to lure Bournemouth’s Matt Tubbs for what would have been a record breaking deal.
“At a meeting with the chairman on Monday, he sanctioned the offers for the pair,” Evans said.
“In turn we have made two concrete offers but I can further confirm that both of them have been turned down.”
Midson scored 18 goals for the Dons this season.
