Clinton Morrison, who is on loan at Brentford, is targeting six points in the race to make the play-offs
Clinton Morrison, on loan at Brentford from Sheffield Wednesday, has described the games over the Easter weekend as crucial in the race for the play-offs.
The Bees, who are currently five points behind sixth placed Carlisle, face Bury at home on Saturday and Hartlepool away on Easter Monday.
“They’re crucial,” Morrison told London24. “Carlisle have a couple of big games to play and that is who we are chasing at the moment.
“They’re two games in pretty much 48 hours. If we can win them then we’ve got a lot to play for.”
Since the 32-year-old joined the Griffin Park outfit on March 23 the club have won all four games, after a run of three straight defeats.
“I’m that bubbly character that the squad needed,” Morrison joked. “Seriously, I’ve come in and tried to help the lads with my experience.
“It’s working now as we’ve won four in a row.
“Sometimes when you have youngsters you don’t quite know how to kill off games.
“Having a bit of experience out there to help the young lads is good.”
