Andre Villas-Boas’ side won the first leg 2-1 thanks to a brace of stunning free kicks from the in-form Gareth Bale.

Sigurdsson believes Spurs are more than capable of getting a result in France and says he is confident they will be able to find the net at least once.

“We always look capable of scoring, especially away from home and we’ve done that in almost every game,” he told Spurs’ official website.

“We’re confident we can go out there and get a goal or two and if we do, it will be a huge positive for us. If we get an early goal, things will be looking good.”

He added: “They showed at White Hart Lane that they are a good team with talented, individual players who can cause some damage,” he added.

“I thought they started slowly in the first leg but they grew into the game and then scored an unbelievable goal.

“He (Umtiti) will probably never score another goal like that in his career! That shows we have to be aware of their quality and ready for them
