Marcus Haber scored the only goal of the game as Stevenage dented Brentford’s automatic promotion hopes.

The Bees were lacklustre after their win at Scunthorpe and it showed as they struggled to break down a spirited Boro side.

And they were punished with 15 minutes to go as Haber fired home after a ball in from Mark Roberts.

It’s the second time Stevenage have dealt the Bees a blow in their battle to win promotion after winning last year to end Uwe Rosler’s play-off dreams.
