AFC Wimbledon manager Terry Brown knows that his side faces a tough test against Stevenage in the Capital One Cup.

The Dons make the trip to the Lamex Stadium on Tuesday night and are once again opening their competitive season with a League Cup tie.

“We’re starting a bit earlier than we’d want to against a side who are very very good,” Brown told London24.

“Stevenage have been a role model for the smaller clubs.

“We know how difficult it’s going to be. It’ll be as hard as it gets.”
