Tottenham head coach Andre Villas-Boas believes that he does not need to spend big in January because of the return of his injured stars.
Spurs have been missing Younes Kaboul, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Scott Parker in recent weeks but all three are moving closer to a return.
“I don’t think we need it, to be fair,” Villas-Boas said.
“We have three top players coming back from injury that played most of the games last season - Younes Kaboul, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Scott Parker.
“These will be major additions to our squad and we are happy to continue with this squad.”
