Jermain Defoe and Aaron Lennon are both in line to return to the Tottenham team for tomorrow’s clash against Newcastle, Harry Redknapp reports.
The pair have missed the last two games due to hamstring injuries, but should be available for tomorrow's Premier League fixture at White Hart Lane.
Redknapp is also hoping that Ledley King will be fit to play again, having also led the Lilywhites out at Anfield on Monday night - but the Spurs boss is still expecting to be without Younes Kaboul, Sandro, William Gallas and Rafael van der Vaart.
"We've got a few injuries," said the manager. "Younes is still struggling a bit with his knee and Sandro's calf is not good. He's still struggling. Gallas is just starting to jog a bit but hes a couple of weeks away.
"Jermain Defoe has trained for the last couple of days, the coaches have said. Aaron Lennon is coming back as well, he looks okay and he's looked sharp, so it's not too bad.
"With Ledley, again, we'll see. Hes going to come out this morning and have a jog around with us and see how he is. Rafa's no good though, hes still got a calf strain."
