Tottenham defender William Gallas believes that his side can come out on top in a battle with Everton, Arsenal, West Brom, West Ham and Fulham in the race for fourth spot.

At this stage in the season, it appears that Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City have moved away from the chasing pack and the sextet are fighting it out for that final Champions League spot, although not many expect the Cottagers, Baggies and the Hammers to stay the course.

“If we believe in it maybe we can secure fourth position,” Gallas explained.

“There are so many teams who want to finish fourth as well.

“The Premier League is very exciting. All the people who watch football are very excited to know which team will be fourth.”
