The midfielder fired home from 35 yards to open the scoring in the second half.

“I’m very happy, so so happy,” he said.

“It’s my first goal of the season but I’m happy because we won. It was a great win. Everyone played really well and we have to continue playing like this.”

What meant more to Sandro was the fact that the goal broke the deadlock between the two sides who were evenly matched up to that point.

“Sometimes you have to shoot!” he said. “I have to shoot more, to try more. It was a good goal. I’m happy because it was an important goal.

“The supporters were fantastic again, right behind us all the time. We’re all delighted.”
