Spurs striker to miss Europa League Athens trip

Striker Emmanuel Adebayor will miss Tottenham’s Europa League clash against Panathinaikos tomorrow as he has still not recovered from a hamstring injury.
Brad Friedel has not travelled to Athens, meaning either Hugo Lloris or Carlo Cudicini will start in goal.
Jake Livermore (groin), Younes Kaboul (knee), Kyle Naughton (foot), Scott Parker (Achilles) and Benoit Assou-Ekotto (knee) are out.
Provisional squad: Lloris, Cudicini, Smith, Vertonghen, Gallas, Dawson, Caulker, Walker, Dempsey, Huddlestone, Lennon, Bale, Dembele, Sigurdsson, Falque, Townsend, Sandro, Mason, Defoe.
