Luis Martins has joined Spurs

Tottenham have appointed Luis Martins as their new first team coach.

Martins previously worked at Sporting Lisbon on their youth side before becoming assistant there.

A statement on Tottenham’s official website read: “The club is delighted to announce the appointment of Luis Martins as first-team coach.”

Head coach Andre Villas-Boas has yet to recruit his number two.
