AN enthralling encounter saw Hertfordshire Mavericks win a tense Fiat Netball Superleague clash away at Team Bath on Thursday night.

The side from the Hertfordshire Sports Village in Hatfield just edged their hosts 51-49 in the live Sky Sports game.

Karen Atkinson’s new-look team have triumphed in four of their six matches this season and are third in the table.

Their next game is against league leaders Northern Thunder at the Herts Sports Village on Monday, March 5.
