Ciara Allott named swimmer of the competition for Letchworth team

Letchworth Sharks’ junior squad showed off the club’s talent in the second Peanuts Gala of 2012.

Ciara Allott was the swimmer of the gala for her victory and a new personal best time in the backstroke and for swimming well in the girls’ U12s freestyle and the freestyle relay.

There were also individual wins for the club.

Morgan Bailey was first home in the backstroke and Sarah Wollas won her breaststroke and, along with Eva McCabe and Felicity Massie, also swam strongly for second in the nine-year-olds freestyle relay.

There were personal best times for Raphael Gaviria-Velez, Sonny Hack, Oscar King, Elliot Sprawson, Matthew Pridmore, Louisa Rogers, Charlotte Turner, Eva McCabe, Ruby Doherty and Jasmine Charlton.

Rachel Pridmore, Sebastien Gaviria-Velez, Eva McCabe, debutant Elliott Sprawson, Hannah Martin, Tia Charlton, Matthew Pridmore, Ruby Doherty, Abigail Watson, Jack Charters, Amelia and Charlotte Spinks also swam well.
